"Is this a question"? Discuss
Maybe an urban myth but I heard this was a question in a Final Year Philosophy degree. How would you answer?
"this" has no objective value so the the question has no subject matter thus is stooooooopid!!
I think that this is a question but that is not a question ;D

No, ‘This’ on its own is a word used to identify a specific person or thing close at hand or being indicated or experienced.
" Is this a question" ? it is,its being asked and its being answered.

I'd say yes, because I'd assume that "this" refers to the question itself.
I have a feeeling that is the wrong answer :)
"Is this a question"?

I don't have the answer. However, I did say "Discuss" so by discussing I can only deduce that the answers are correct.
You must let go of the concept of right and wrong answers and get used to the concept of explaining and justifying the answer you have in clear rational terms.
