Finally I have my date

I have finally been given my date for spinal surgery :)

26th of this month at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol

Wish me luck peep's as I believe I will be re-cupperating for approx 6 months in total before I can return to work :o :o :o

Slight change of plan it is at Southmead hospital Not frenchay as I thought although I have to go tomorrow for my pre-op at frenchay... :-/ Go figure eh

Pre-op went well apart from having a crackle on left side of chest :-? Had it checked at surgery and been given anti-biotics but shouldn't make any difference to op date :)

Real bummer though is No more motorcycling for me due to the nature and type of surgery I am about to have :'( :'(
So it looks like my motorcycling career is over for good :( Oh well I'll get meself a better car later on instead then :D :D

That's bad news but good in other respects mate, you'll be a lot better off after the op. how about a trike?

even a trike is a no go due to the nature of seating positions etc :(
Unless i win the lotto and can afford a Goldwing conversion trike then biking is a distant memory for me I'm affraid, but in all honesty since selling the thou I haven't even wanted to sit on a bike let alone buy one :-/
