so then...this year less bikers are nodding back to me...last year every biker I passed would nod a hello.

so are you a nodder or not? :)

I am. Only people I don't nod to are Scooter riders as most of them are chav's!

yup I am normally sat on the back of Paul. BMW riders never nod unless you are on a BMW

I alway did when I had my bike on the road - see new members comments- If I see a bike at the side of the road I stop to see if there is anything I can do to help! Its a case of respecting peolpe/bikers as it might be you next time whose broken down, run out of fuel etc. etc!

Yep - I nod and as said, also ignore chavvy scooters! Unless its my mum as she rides my old (02 reg) Aerox 100 8-)

I'm a nodder on my bike to all except scooters (chavs/grannies) unless they nod first. And I've started to give up nodding to harley and goldwing riders as in my experience most don't nod back!!

I can see their sneers on their fly splatted faces before i even think about nodding! Their look of distain says it all :-/


Also a nodder (and a flasher :o) in the scoob 8-)

Harley/Goldwing Aspencart Riders are usually to far up their own arse to bother! DONT get me started on BMW riders - Their other bikes a Volvo!

(Sorry didint mean to swear! - I used the V word!)

The more you can tell people don't want to nod the more fun it is to nod at them!!

What about warning other bikers about speed traps and the like, how do you do it?

I find the best thing to do is to Flash and wave down ( the old hand signal for slowing down) You look a bit like a demented seagull but it does work!

Yep, i am a nodder...dont like that awkward feeling when they dont nod back mind...

On a different score, is you wife/gf a waver when they pillon, my missus just cant help waving a kids in cars..dont know what brings it out of her when we are biking :)

Been there at traffic lights and I can see her waving around in the reflection of the widow of the car next door...what the bloody hell....she is in a world of her own I think!

I don't care - feck em if they don't nod back - its still nice that most do 8-)

Don't have the issue with gf/wife being a free agent!!!! :D

On another note does anyone nod at scooters - damn chavs >:( (except my mum who rides my old one!!!! ) :-[

Never nodded at scooters, although there are several around that seem to mimic bigger bikes now, and I have always liked the 125 trailies...i would always have 1 of them over a scooter anyday. Mind you I dont think scooter riders sit in that nodding bracket, not part of the culture...coz they are either chav's or grannies :)
