i got so wound up at work today that i had to go for a ride on my bike to cool down. i was so please i had it there just felt sorry for the bike at the end. Decide to go to the new triumph shop and dream about getting my Daytona. I really want one now but i took the sensiable option first as i am a nutter. My aim is to get ever triumph there is as i love them. Getting me new triupmh leathers soon so should be all triumphed out. After my ride felt a lot better but then got into work and was just as wound up because i had to get off me bike xxxxx Sorry to blaber on about nothing xxxxx

your right about riding chillin you out and don't worry about the speed four being the "sensible" option because the speed four can be one hell of a fun bike when you want it to be. plus if you drop it, it'll be less noticable than something like the daytona. and less expensive.

I agree with Aimee, riding is therapeutic and chills you out. Yesterday got a bit fraught by the end of the day culminating with being ½ hour late for a club meeting where I am secretary! ::) But the ride down to Bath was fun and the long way round home was brilliant – totally relaxing – and I didn’t just bimble along! ;) Biking is addictive, like a drug. I really hate it if I can’t get out on a bike for a long time.

I also have to agree that biking is relaxing. I used to commute to work during the summer months (yeah yeah, fair weather rider and all of that) until I had my bike stolen from work last year. I used to hate having to drive to work everyday after that when the sun was out.

However, since moving house the bike is the best way for me to get to work nowadays and my company have helped me find a secure place to park the bike and I'm loving every minute (yes even the 1 degree mornings!) of being able to use the bike. At the end of the day when I head for home, there is no greater feeling of walking out of that office door knowing that for the next 45 minutes or so, I will be opening that throttle as wide open as I can.

Once I'm home, I've got the adrenaline pumping and I feel nice and relaxed! :)
