We got a new toy!

Hi All!

For all of you who have followed our trials and tribulations, the good news is we have finally taken possession of our first baby........ a beautiful bouncing CBR 600 f (W/2000 model) in black and bronze!!!!! :D ;D ;)

PK has unfortunately (for him) had to go back north for the weekend to see his girls, leaving me all on my own to care for her....... such hardship! ;) All I can say is............ time to play!!!! ;D ;) 8-) (safely, of course) ;)

Keep an eye out, and hope to see some of you soon!

Well, hopefully she wont be doing too much bouncing, but as for what's next....................PK is currently torn between a Suzuki Intruder 1400 (so we can have a bike for all occasions) and another CBR 600f (as he likes the new baby so much!). We could end up with twins yet! :o ;) Whatever he decides, it may well be by the end of the week, as we have rapidly come to the conclusion that one bike between two is not going to be enough if we want to maintain domestic harmony! :-/ ;)

I do like the way senior Management has decided on here that "we" have a new toy! By the time I got the baby home it had been registered in the "boss's" name and insured with me as a second rider! :(

Ah well I guess als well that ends well though as I have now managed to buy and keep! my own CBR 600 F and although the colours are similar they are not the same. However due to the prevailing lousy weather I have had enough time to bring our second baby home, nip out to see a friend, get caught in torrential rain and put the cover on him! So all in all I am afraid there are no pic's as yet of our latest addition!

However as a wee footnote.... I am still hankering for a " low rider" too....I am sure most of this is for my benefit but also for "DM's" benefit too as I am sure she will be tickled pink to ride through the town on the back of a "low rider" Ach well maybe in a couple of months time!

For the benefit of those of you who dont speak PKnese, 'DM' is actually how he refers to my mother......... and no, it doesnt stand for Dungeon Master :-? :-/ (tho at times, that may be appropriate! ;)), it is in fact an abbreviation of Da Mammy - a kindly nod to her university nickname of Mama Mafia 8-) - and one of her little quirks is wanting to pick up her pension (when she reaches such an esteemed age) on the back of a Harley! ;D
