It would also seem that the bulldog bash license is under review!

As usual bikers seem an easy target for the authorities. OK, a biker was shot, not a nice thing to happen, but to try and close all well established and long running festivals? all have an excellent record (as far as I know). They didn't close the airports and stop people flying after 9/11, the UEFA cup won't be cancelled following the stabbing and trouble at the Rangers vs Zenit match, and I doubt all bakers shops have been advised to close over security fears following the unfortunate death of a 16 yr old boy!

Never been to either of these events. Didn't even realise until recently that the BB is a Hells Angel event and the R&B is the Outlaws equivalent.

Coming from Norn Iron I know how gang wars can tear a community apart and the biking community is no different.

So it's sad that any biking event has to be canceled due to the threat of violence :(

The strange thing is the Welsh National Motorcycle show is a commercial event ran buy a business and not a MC bash.

Both the Bulldog bash and the Rock and Blues have some really good live bands as well as excellent dance tents. This is sad news as thousands of people look forward to attending these events every year

Good news!

Following the result of the Bulldog Bash being granted a license, the R&B have re-applied for the license. They say that they withdrew the application, but didn't actually cancel the show, which is true, although they where offering refunds on their website.
