Did anyone else go to Cassington Bike Meet

Fantastic evening.
Fantastic ride up there too. The village opens its doors to all bikers, on old bikes and new. Must have been around a thousand bikes in total! They were still arriving when I left at 9pm.

Only runs on the last monday of June each year.

If you get the chance next year it's well worth the ride.

Great evening and there were well over a thousand bikes if you take into account all the car parks they were using. I reckon they exceeded even the 7000 bikes they were hoping for. Amazing for an event that is advertised purely by word of mouth... and forums of course lol.

I've been going for many years. It must be one of the oldest bike meets in the country. It started a long time ago with a few British bikes meeting in a pub car park and has grown from there. The pub closed about ten years ago and was demolished and replaced by a block of flats.

The Police don't allow the organisers to advertise it otherwise it will get too big. It's all done by word of mouth.

Last year was a washout and some of the village was flooded but this year it was brilliant.

If you've never been then you've really missed a great night out.
