Found these, very interesting, note they say idealy the camera should be pointed at the number plate, which Bikes don't have!

Anyone here ever contested a speeding ticket and won?

Yes a while ago a gent was passing a parked BUS and as the camera saw the bike goe past it flashed and the reflection of the BUS made it go off again.

The rider then contested against it as he could prove that he was doing less than the speed as the bus was parked and they could measure his advancement against the bus and work out the speed....
He won.

Also I had a mate that took it all the way to court and then he had hired this lawyer that was doing the rounds and could get people off with the smallest error on the police side, his was that they could not prove that the camera from a van was not calibrated correclty.

Just a thought. When we take bikes to drag strips we do the opposite with the cameras. We say we were going faster through the lights than they say we were! :D I stick to my guns that my cbr600 was doing 150 through the lights, not 125mph! ;D
