Went for my first ral ride today on the new bike. First ride in 18 months and I was SLOW. At one point I had cars waiting behind me :-[

At least I made it back in one pice but I've got lots of practice to get nack in the swing of things, hopefully that excuse will work with the wife and she'll let me out to play lots :-?

Depends on what you were riding. Honda Melody Deluxes never were a speed machine! ;D But if you were on a GSXR you might need abit more practice! (Turning your right hand on the grip helps!!! LOL!) Only kidding mate, Im sure you will be flying soon!

it can sometimes take a while after a break to get back up to speed, just don't push yourself to go faster than you feel comfortable!

Im always a wee bit wobbly after i have a break from the bikes,i just remember this and slow down a bit, still loads of fun tho :-)

The only time I ever get my knee down is when me & the bike have fallen over in a car park! Or when I threw it down the road that time and then it was both knees!

Just take it easy and be comfortable with yourself, it will come in time! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

you think your slow try riding a ty50p down to Paignton or Brighton ( done both but i am mad ) and then you will think your on a R1
