My father was a Cheif sub editor / night editor with the Daily & Sunday Telegraph back in the 70s so I know how big a deal like this is to you. May it be the first of many mate.

Promise me one thing... no more naked pictures of you goodself!! The doc says the nightmares should pass in time but I dont want a relapse! LOL!! ;D

Well done on the front cover Del....
Can I ask how long has it taken to make a front cover, or have you done it before??

The bike is well used.

The actual shoot and article was done in the spring. So this one has been a long time coming. Mags plan the front covers a few months in advance so articles with cover shots can be delayed even longer.

I do cover classic "news" type events for the mag. They will go in within a month. Any longer and its well out of date.

I've had a smaller picture on the cover but never a full cover before.
I quite often make the index page. Generally its the unusual shots that work there...

Like this one...

Took this at the Ace Cafe in early February last year and I thought it worked well.
Girl was actually doing a shoot for some ameter photographers and managed to get in the background.. ;)

Got a little list of articles that I am working on at the moment.

Jack owns the Harley and it is his daily transport no matter wot the weather. Its a 1975 HD 1200 electra glide and is just about original. He rides it "steadily" - don't clean it. Paint work is original as well. He says that he don't want to restore it as it will loose its charm and character.

After riding it I knew wot he means..

There is truth in what he says; you just do not have the time when your bike is your daily hack.

Tru enough FJ, you have a choice between riding & restoring and an older honest well used bike is a joy to see. :)
