Pumpkins as helmets??

Motorcyclists in Nigeria have been wearing dried pumpkin shells on their heads to dodge new laws forcing them to wear helmets, authorities have said!! ;D

Looking at some of the helmet designs they come out with over here a pumpkin skin doesn't seem such a daft idea.
