Not bad for £950 I think, and the previous owner put 6 months tax on it, and didn't charge me the extra, even though I knew the bike came with no tax.

just a new speedo cable, the previous owner had fitted a new one, and the threaded socket is a pain to get to, so he obviously didn't do it up tight enough, so I had to wrap it around the guide loops a fwe times so I could get it home, and then reconnect it, but it seems I wrapped it a bit to tight and the inner twisting bit didn't have enough room to twist properly and snapped, so nothing major, about £10 - £15 for a new one.

Nice one Hunar, I can see a respray coming on though to make it Black.... ;D ;D not bad with all the kit and pans as well, how come I never find these sort of deals??

Hunar

No plans to respray this one, but I still have the old one which I will work on getting back on the road so I have 2 bikes, can use the old one for the fun runs and day to day stuff, and this one for touring and shopping, adn yes the old one will remain black, probably, well mostly black, might put another colour in there when I have her respray, nothign major, just a few small bits to break up the single colour.

I have just been told by the FJOC mechanic that the speedo from my old FJ is exactly the same as the one for this bike, so will be swapping it over today, and ordering a new one at some point for the old bike.

Sweet that takes the hassle out of ordering and waiting for it, you can be on the road in no time now.
