I need a haynes manual for my bike (Triumph TT600) but they don't seem to do one - I'm sure they did one for the TT600/Speed 4 at one point but can't find it anywhere! Does anyone know if there's an alternative manual available?

Went to the Haynes site and I cant see that they have made one, so i think you will have to source else where mate. ;)

Dabz

You can get a genuine workshop manual, but it is expensive (£64!)

Also found the one on e-junkie.com

thanks guys :D £64 is quite expensive considering I only want it for one job (hopefully!), I'll download the e-junkies one and print out the relevant bits I reckon!

Dabz I would print the whole manual and bind it. There is nothing more annoying than having to get to a computer half way through working on your bike.

Inclined to agree FJ :)

Actually having followed Alan's link, that looks to be very useful!

Yes what a pain it would be with a sprocket in one hand and a piston in the other and trying to get the notebook running to see what to do next....
Also at least if you have it all out on paper form already and if you slip them into those plastic sheets at least it would last longer as well.

Haynes are a load of rubbish cars as well as bikes so avoid! I downloaded a free full workshop manual off the net (do a search) that showed you what every last relay ,plumbing and sundry does! If I can remember the link I'll post it for you!

Sometimes have to be a bit careful with CD manuals on ebay. Sometimes they are not UK spec models

Sounds like a man who has come across a import CD Manual then....

Still cant be any worse than when my Dad was a airplane mechanic and one time they had only printed the details for one undercarriage, and of course it was the other side that had gone wrong so they were reading the blue prints by a torch from the other side.
