Ok, so to condense this story down as much as poss here goes.
10th October 2008: Car reverses back into my parked bike.
Bennetts get 4th Dimension to collect bike
4th dimension repair bike and return after 69 days
Bike is refused as clutch is making horrible noise
4th dimension take bike back
Nothing found, can’t understand what I am on about, normal noise
Asked if they would buy bike with the noise, said NO
Bike taken to West London Yamaha.
Nothing found sounds normal for age. (1 year old)
Do I want bike back
No
Bike taken to Yamaha UK Weighbridge
Noting found, normal noise for condition of bike.
4th Dimension instructed to deliver bike to Hayballs Salisbury for evaluation
4th Dimension try to get Hayballs to sign saying it was ok, Hayball refused.
Hayballs investigate, say it’s a far from normal noise.
Fault found and repaired in a few hrs.
4th Dimension billed for labour & parts
All this took 115 days
Hayball fixed it in a couple of hours
What the hell is 4th Dimension, West London Yamaha & Yamaha UK playing at.

Glad you got your bike squared away after all of that!

I can't believe 4th Dimension tried to get Hayballs to blag you as well. A big well done to Hayballs for telling them to ram it (I always take my bikes there for servicing etc)

Personally, I would name and shame with a letter to MCN. It might stop this happening to other people.

At least they had your bike over the winter so you haven't missed out on to much biking!! :) Glad to hear it's finally fixed now!!!
