Hornet 600 will suit you cheap reliable solid cbr motor. Or SV650.

"Onfire" Unfortunately I only have up to £800 to spend. The Hornet would be nice but this bike is being offered to me for £650 T&T and new tires. So need some opinions on whether it's an Ok bike

Surely you mean the Yamaha FZR600 - not bad bikes owned a few - don't count the crappy track bike tho which was fine til someone decided to rebuild it.

As long as its been looked after you shouldn't have any issues - but as onfire said SV or hornets are better and they do come around for your budget the yellow peril was only £700 and have been a few cheapy ons on www.svforum.org and ebay

Well its only IMHO Fazers FZR600 of that age they full apart normally the exhaust system goes first, shocks & anything past 22k check it has a full service history. There's generally a valid reason for being so cheap, but hey you might have a real good one. get it checked out by a mechanic.

Good Luck 8-)
