Hope it's not just me who's done this, but was out for a ride on the way home from work making the most of the good weather. Got a bit caught up in the moment whilst going round beckhamton round about and got my knee down only to feel that i had my jeans on.....lol it was only for a few seconds but it really made me jump! lol what a plumb! left a nice mark on my jeans thou! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
Yeh,never done that! [smiley=happy.gif] [smiley=happy.gif] [smiley=happy.gif]
hmmmm never done that myself,
I still have the scar from doing that on a MV augusta 750 I borrowed - bloody hurt for ages - so your not alone ::)
LOL i bet you got abit of a shock, aint got me knee down yet so i aint ever done it :)
I still have the jeans with the hole in my right knee from last year where I deliberately got my kneedown on my Aprilia RS50 - being a roundabout warrior.
Not big or clever really ::) :D
I never go out without leathers on now, and have just told my fiance off for riding off to work just in jeans!!! >:(
I don;t wanna be nursing gravel rash either through coming off the bike, or getting my knee down whilst only wearing jeans!
As with Schwee I dont ride unless in kit, I do have a pair of Draggin Jeans that I wear in the summer months if I know I will be getting off of the bike to walk about abit, but others than that I wear the kit (even if I do ride 4 miles to work).
:o Each to their own, but I just don't feel comfortable without the kit on nowadays! :)
BB
IMHO Full Leathers "No excuses" 8-)
I wear my bike jeans to work but thats not far but any longer than the 1/2 mile full kit is worn
