View Full Version : breaks and pads
hay peeps, as i have to sort my break pads and discs out on my bike, is it worth getting a better higher quality disc and pads as i am going to get the 2ct's for tyers,????
but then if i did that would i need new sprokets and chain or not hmmm?
i would get new pads and discs first of all and if you need new chain and sprocket soon then get at the same time if not wait a little while
what you recon tho mate same pads and disc's that r on it or more lighter or sortyer, if ya know what im trying to say?, chain looks like its from the 80's and sprockes look well worn, how much do u recon they will be ?
I replaced my pads last week for EBC HH's but think the OE pads are just the job too unless you were doing lots of trackdays when people on other forums have recommended SBS Carbon pads for them.
DID X ring chain and Renthal Sprockets are a good combination and I think the chain and sprockets cost £130ish all in, but it's top quality stuff. :)
thanks will take a look into them, cheers mate [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
