If it rains at le Mans next Saturday night (what am I saying, "if"? "when" more like... ::) ) they won't stop, they just pit for wets and carry on - and advantage of not having 5MW of lighting around the place to reflect off the track surface - that's why they didn't race - it'd be better if they reduced the lighting and put lights on the bikes and rode them like proper races do! ;) Of the current MotoGP riders, at least Rossi and Edwards have ridden the Suzuka 8hr which normally always ends in rain, in the dark, and former MotoGP guy James Ellison was World Endurance champion in 2003 with Phase One, which involved at least three 24hr races (I think Spa had been axed by that year)
I voted for Stoner, but would prefer to see Rossi win it - well I'd like most to see Toseland do well but I feel he's going to struggle a bit :'(
