Now stu you sure that you are looking at this right, they are supposed to go on and off until you kill them...... ;D :D ;D ;)

as i don't have my LED resistor in at the moment they are

onoffonoffonoffonoffonoffonoff

before i notice i wired them wrong they were onoffonoff at the rear right and onoffonoff front left ....oops :-[
