Ride to Work Day

Did anybody notice that yesterday was supposed to be Ride to Work Day (http://londonbikers.com/news/11691/national-motorcycle-week-and-ride-to-work-day)? It seems like a good idea, but I think it needed to have much more support to be newsworthy. Still, after I mentioned it at work, we did have 3 bikes in, instead of the usual 2, so it did some good!

as I quoted to them last year to get my free drink and donut - It states bicycle my motorbike is taxed as a bicycle so would come under the same catagory ;) I got my freebies :)

I ride to work everyday, its almost an hour each way, its not fun anymore :( too much rain.

Mmm thats cool but as I am home at the mo waiting to start a new job I cant ride to work.
