I am looking at buying a new exhaust early next year. I have been looking at the Urban twin pipe from Mad4Bikes for my SV650 costing around £200. Can anybody suggest anyting better without going into silly money or give us some feed back on my present choice. Thanks.

Must admit that I'm not familiar with exhausts for the SV - have you browsed ebay to see what's available, you may be able to get a "proper" system there (Arrow, Akrapovic etc.) - are you looking to have a CE marked one with a road-legal silencer - how about Motad if that's the case (do they still make exhausts)?

I've used Scorpion cans on mine. Look the nuts, sound the nuts, fit well and the after sales service is top draw. (I've destroyed 2 of them, took the cans back and got instant replacement with no questions)

The only complete system I would recommend on the M4 system. This is what most of the racers use. Having said that I've not heard much bad said against the o/e system. Is ok up to 75-80bhp - but to get these figures out of a 650 requires a lot of work...

JHS in Keynsham are very good, have a chat to them.

Beowulf & Fuel seem very popular on the SV Forum, cheaper too !

Never seen the Urban twin port mentioned (goes to do a search there).

That looks good quality! Are they UK manufacture? Of course not Akropovic quality but it is not AK money either! :)

Like the tri oval style too!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Great advice! Many Thanks to all of you. I will hopefully have some spare cash next year. ;)
