Thanks guys ;D And well done Stu - we saw Peter yesterday and he passed on the good news [smiley=thumbsup.gif] I reckon you had the wetter ride - by 11:30 it had pretty much stopped raining.

If anyone is thinking of doing this (and personally I cannot recommend it enough), but putting it off to the summer - you have more chance of a test in better weather if you start now :o

As lurkalot says, start about 6 months before you want to be taking your test.
I started in April and did my test in -2 degrees in December.
