Hiya, as title my carbs are in dire need of a balance and I dont really have the 60 odd quid spare to buy the kit or to get it done professionally, I'm wondering if there is anyone in the area that wouldnt mind lending a balancing kit to me for a day or so or even better (but a bit cheeky) I could come to you and we could do it together (ooh err missus)

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me, Im a nice chap I promise and wont lose/damage any of the gear :) and beer will be bought for you :D (or cider or whatever it is you drink)

I have a set of vacuum gauges for up to 4 cylinders. Balancing the carbs should be as simple as it was on the old ZXRs - balance 1-2 and 3-4 with a single screw per pair, and then balance the two pairs with a single central screw. If I recall, the fun part was actually attaching the gauge hoses to the brass take-off points that were beneath the carbs, in front of the manifold rubbers - that's the difficult bit, doing the balancing is easy in comparison... Scotty thats pretty much how it goes from reading the manual, the vacuum take offs look a bit out of the way so will take a couple of hours probably
