Exhaust Repacking - where?

Does anyone know somewhere local that does exhaust repacking? Mine never used to be this loud so think the baffling needs replacing..living with the standard can is going to annoy me :P

Do it yourself...

You just need some packing from ebay..

A drill a steady hand and a few rivet's and a rivet gun...

Have done quite a few over the years...

slight issue in that my exhaust doesnt seem to come apart :/ there's a rim that suggests the end comes off but I can't get it off - no rivets anywhere to drill

I read on the triumph forums that one guy cut down the length of the can and peeled it open like a tin of tuna...then repacked it then welded it up. Seems like a lot of hassle and you'd be left with nasty welding marks so can't be bothered to do that. May be time to buy a new one :/

Is this an oem exhaust??? or an aftermarket can??

it's an aftermarket can, a Triumph branded one. They only made 2 for my bike - the standard and the race can. I do have a Remus in the garage for it but that's also too loud and needs repacking hehe

does it have an dB Killer "Insert" to turn it from a race can into a road can???...

Prehaps the Remus should be dug out.... could be an easier option.
