Haaaaa yeah it was a whole one. Went into a corner tooo quickly, target fixated on a lovely looking wall of bush and landed up parking the bike between a pole and a tree and in barb wire. Luckily I got thrown off the bike at enough of an angle to have missed the tree, pole and barb wire and landed a few metres in the bushes. Fairing was trashed but no mechanical issues which is brilliant. I came out with bumps and bruises. I have ordered the new fairing so once i have that fitted, a new light and a new front fairing bracket i should be my old self again. :) Im very greatful that a mate had a track fairing i could use so i could at least get back on her asap.
Feel oooba stupid about what happened but im glad it did because i now know what i need to correct my cornering and no-one else was hurt by my muppetness (not a word i know but sounds good)
All good though, cant keep a bad girl from being on a bike [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Learn by doing so a wise man once said, or maybe it was my Dad..... who knows. Main thing is that your are ok and the bike only suffered superficial damage and nothing serous, plus you were right back on it as well which helps!
Target fixation! We've all done it somewhere along the line! ;)

I was expecting to see a repaired head fairing on the bike by now, especially with the nights getting darker earlier

Glad you're ok Nicky. At least you know what target fixation is now... ::)
Always remember, the 'in slow, out fast' cornering technique... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
You kept that a bit quiet..... :-? 8-)
glad that you are ok, shame about the bike, but then again it is only plastic and metal not skin and bone like you.

Fair play to you Nicky, I'm not sure I'd have the balls to jump back on my toy if he'd hurt me
