Ho hum, it's that time of year again, had to give the car a good scraping this morning and I noticed that the roads were all covered in that toxic white filth today >:( so the road bike gets parked, at least until we've had a decent bit of rain to wash the roads clean again :(

There is an alternative though - Off-Roading yay! [smiley=thumbsup.gif] Bugger! Just remembered that the MoT on the XR ran out last week... pants! :'( Need some new tyres for it....

Jesus your gritters are out earlier! Weather isnt even that bad yet! :o
Definatly hope I can get a offroader of my own, before the weather turns to stale and my bike has to turn into a CLEAN every single night machine :(

Best of luck! Keep safe this winter - but keep riding!! [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Ye I know what you mean Scotty - I try to avoid taking the bike out but I left my first service on the Fazer a bit late. Rode to George White's and back today - by heck it was bloody cold this morning with only summer gloves on. Hosed it down with cold water, dried it off with my leaf blower and it's all tucked up in bed now. ;D Good waxing tomorrow night.

My god gritters already?? whats going on :(

My little baby is probably going into hibernation now, new rear tyre needed and so I think I will wait until the Spring before putting it on.

Riding it from Dads to my new shed will be the only outing it gets now I think :(... unless some yankie pos needs escorting to the tearoom! ;) ;D

Grit for a bit of frost? We're up and out for 6ish and yeah we need to scrape the car but theres no bloody need for grit.... just wait and see how much whining there is if we have another bad winter that theres not enough salt for the real bad conditions ..... I mean fgs the roads get slippier when it rains than it does after a mild frost

Good to see councils are tightening their belts like the rest of us ::)

....Good waxing tomorrow night.
Steady on Ken, there are some things you might want to keep behind closed doors and away from a public forum..... doesn't that smart a bit? :-? ;)

lol. My daughter persuaded me to let her wax my bum once for a laugh but I did'nt think it was funny Scotty. Without wishing to show any gender disloyalty, females are certainly tougher than males - waxing their bikini lines no thank you. lol :'(
