Tyre choice

Im not sure if i should use a Bridgestone bt023,or a bt014 for the rear end of my GSXR750K7.Any suggestions

There is a bt014 on the front.

I've never tried the 023, but the 021 was an awful tyre, and very quickly superceded. I used to run 020 rear and 014 front, was a good combo. I'm not convinced by any of these dual compound tyres tbh, i'd personally stick with 014 all round.

I agree as any other shape would affect the ride quality ;D
