Sometimes I amaze myself with how stupid I have been - looking for a good, waterproof, secure tail pack that I can carry my laptop & suit in while travelling to the office on the bike.
I was cleaning out the cupboard under the stairs this morning and there was the answer staring me straight in the face!
Last year, in the winter sale, we bought a camo coloured cool bag from one of the hiking/ski shops at the outlet centre. We stuck it under the stairs ready for when the summer weather comes. Being as it was winter, it was reduced from £30 to a fiver.
It is perfect - it looks nice, waterproof, sits well, has space, you can secure the carry strap under the rear seat. Plus I worked out that I could then use it to keep food & drink cool if out on a long ride, or down to the beach etc over the summer so I decided to try and see if I could fit my tent and it together ready for Cornwall... And it does! So if anyone fancies an impromptu camping weekend by the sea if we get nice weather, I'm game!
