Just been reading up on MCN and the Triumph 675 forums, lots of press alerts seem to suggest that Triumph are going to unveil an updated Street Triple as early as Monday to have the awful new Speed Triple lights!

Yuck! I guess on the plus side they may try to sell off older stock cheap which could benefit my wallet :P

and you can always convert them with a set of original lights :) Im not sure about the new look either mate!

apparently they may also change the body a bit and a few other bits, though that was in MCN so to be taken with a pinch of salt. I may wait a few weeks and see what happens...

shame that they're losing the iconic round headlights tho, it looks like a normal jap bike with the fairing missing :/

I would hold on mate. The new shape may grow on you. I wasnt too sure about my shape when it first appeared but it grew on me! :)

Ha......Biased and unfair pictures!!!!!
That "older"!! version has the benefit of some seriously saucy add-ons!

Those new lights look hhhhhot, mean and nasty......and probably makes it go faster ;) ;)

lol yeh that's true..the old one does have all the tasty extras :P but the lights..they just lose the Wall-E character of it :P

We love that film, H has watched it 'several'!!! times ;)

It's a beautiful bike but i always thought those lights made it look old and looked a bit odd 'stuck' on the front. It's as if they were being lazy banging them on the Street when the rest of the bike looked so sleeeeek. These new ones look like they should be on there, they really start the whole flow from the front :-X......i'll get my coat

I love the new look lights, seen a few of them in the flesh now and would consider one for sure!

Well new lights or not, I just wish they would bring back the only thing that really defined a Triple for me.......NUCLEAR RED!! ( preferably WITH Natalie Imbruglia). But I'm unsure of the new lights too, perhaps a step too far. ;)

I like the new look , but don't think it will be worth trading in for the new one if it's only changed cosmetically.

It needs a bikini fairing to work properly.

That is bike racism.

I agree Nooj it looks a bit unfinished!

official pics now out - new colours (including purple), new headlights, tiny cosmetic changes and new logo on the tank, that is all :)

I think they'll regret losing such an iconic look.

Simple solution however is just to get one of the new R's instead ;)

Funny you should say that I saw a Daytona R in the dealer I got my rear changed the other day (Joint Yam/Tri dealer) and it looks stunning, he had spent some money on extras like the Scorpion silencer and rear sets, real cowl and had the rear pegs removed and blanked. To say I drooled is an understatement! The white pearlescent paint really looks something else up close too!

white bike to match the white car...would be good :P

looks really nice front the side with the new lights actually..this is an issue..I don't wanna have to save up more money!

Hmmm, there is something to be said for a lower pipe than standard, it does tidy the back end up nicely on this profile shot. Standard silencers are a bit bulky, if keeping underseat pipes, Arrows cans are super cool 8-)

yeh I've got my heart set on underseat arrows, but the more I see the arrow 3-into-1 low one the more it grows on me

isn't that painful?? ;D

I agree, the single silencer looks sweet!

nah, you can't beat an under-seat zorst ::)

I think it's a real shame the Street Triple didn't get the Daytona's under seat pipes.

Jon_W

except the Ducatti 999, I've never liked underseat pipes. Don't know why, they just never look quite right...

Much prefer the short low level 'zorst.
