Bike accident yesterday - just heard on news

On the way back from the ride out yesterday - the road from Collingbourne Ducis to Burbage (A338) was closed due to an accident. I have just heard on the news it was a female biker who lost control of her bike. She is aged 31 and from Newbury and is sadly in a critical condition. Has anyone else heard the news? I can't see anything online about it. Fingers crossed the rider is ok :-/ :-/ :-/

Don't quote me on this but there was a road closure yesterday due to an accident, and they wouldn't let them reopen the road until the potholes had been filled in... :o

That explains why I had to detour via the farm to get home. Hope she's OK, local gossip has it that it was on the s bends out of Burbage which is renowned for accidents. Road is in good condition there so will have to wait and see.
