hi, can anyone advice if a 3.00-18 rear tyre is ok, as apposed to a 90/90-18 tyre on the rear of my 2005 honda cg125? does it make any difference? thanks
also can anyone tell me with confidence what side stand will fit the cg as ive read there is some confusion as to which other model will fit

thanks again

Hiya

A 3.00 tyre will be fine, this is just the old Imperial inches sizing for the tyre rather than the metric equivalent - same size, different measuring meduim. :)

Sidestands? No clue, Im afraid! Is yours broken?

It may make a small difference to the feel of the bike as it's not precisely the same size, but you are unlikely to get up to such speeds or lean at such angles that it will be noticeable. :)

Although I'll admit that I insisted on having 90/90 18 on my CG - Metzler do tyres in the right sizes and so far they're been very good.

Side stand I can't help with as mine is about 20 years older than yours and they may have changed in the interim ;D

Didn't Anatomiss have a side stand issue? Can't remember if it was a CG or a YBR though
