I was rear ended today in Chippenham by a dozey woman in a Merc! A lapse in concentration she said!!! >:(
Looks like the Fazer's going to be written off - looking at the damage :(
I'm hoping they don't right it off as I've spent quite a few bob on it lately that won't be covered! :(
Oh, and I'm fine by the way. Just a touch of back ache :'(

If they do write it off can you not buy it back strip it and start a new project ,maybe a track bike or custom job, only asking because you can do this with a car but not sure about a bike ?
I would be interested to find out
"A lapse in concentration..." eh? What was the dozy tart doing then, texting, yapping on a hand-held mobile, fiddling with twat-nav, changing a CD? >:( >:( >:( No excuses whatsoever.. were the plod involved? I know that they don't have to be called to an RTC unless someone is injured, but if you're suitably aggrieved you can call them of your own accord and insist that they prosecute the perpetrator, in her case for driving without due care and attention - it's a bit late to tell you this now I guess if you didn't do it at the time. Such a shame though as that Fazer was absolutely mint, a real credit to you :'( Fingers crossed that it all gets sorted ok, but like someone's mentioned, don't settle until your back and neck are fully healed!

Sorry to hear that Jase - I know how much love and care you put in to that bike. Most importantly though, I'm really glad that you are ok.
That really sucks Jase! >:(
Glad you are ok, thats the main thing. But also gutted for you over the bike, you have given it so much tlc.. yes you can buy the bike back and rescue what you can from it. Good luck with settling up.
Don't accept that you'll be outta pocket on this as you are entirely blameless and should therefore not find yourself disadvantaged in any way. Good luck 'n let us know the outcome
Bad news indeed but good that you are ok.
Lapse in concentration? ha, good job it wasn't a child crossing the road or something important it was just a biker! Make sure you see a doc re your back & neck as that injury could come back to haunt you.

"Lapse in concentration"..what a joke.. You should have had a "brief period of craziness" and ripped her head off "by mistake".
