From trying to learn about how to various bits on the bike, it's thrown up loads of questions about exactly how bike engines work, and the differences between 4 & 2 stroke engines. It's been explained to me a few times by technical people (usually in some technical language! lol) and I had a vague understanding.

Found these guides which have given me what alcoholics refer to, as a moment of clarity!

The use of the moving diagrams/exploded pictures was really useful. They're not as complex as they seem....

Still wouldn't want to take one to bits and put it back together again mind!
