:( :( I went to the Dr's earlier to get my MRI results and as feared it wasn't good news :'( :'(

I have been told that 2x Lumbar disc's are damaged and have now been refered back to the Frenchay hospital to see a speciallist.

I have been told by the Doc also to Not drive heavy goods vehicles for the time being so therefore I have to try and walk alot more at work wheeling the bins about ::) ::)

I am gonna have to wait and see what, If anything the consultants can do but at this stage it looks as though my biking days maybe over :( :(

I will keep you posted as and when I get/hear any info

Thanks
Simon

Simon,

Where there's a will there's a way!

Don't doubt your biking days are over for one second yet, hold your chin up, keep smiling and taking it easier until you know any more news!

Good Luck!

Don't say things like this until the Doctors have told you. It might take a while before treatment and then you have recovery time but with any luck you should get back on two wheels.

good luck fella, dont give up tho.
i was told i was going to lose my leg but it didnt happen in the end..... they can perform some minor miracles nowadays, and it may work out all ok.....

if you do have to give up biking, there are a few other sports that come close to the rush.....

see what they say and keep yer chin up mate.

Get the op out of the way, get recovered and you'll be amazed what the docs can do. Don't give up yet though.
