im going to write a letter to my MP.

can you lot please give me ammo and ways of wording things as im not good at this sort of thing.

You need to find the original proposals and read them. I've looking for weeks and not found all of it. From there you then need to construct a reasoned arguement about the issue. Not hard, but time consuming.

If you rant and rave about f**ing eu this and that, your letter will be filed under "waste".

And here is the original proposal. I war you it is in legaliese but not so bad as to be un readable.

It is interesting to read the provisions on modification.

Just reading it.... Horay for Artical 60 para 1!!! There is one goo bit in all this.

"Manufacturers shall provide unrestricted access to vehicle repair and maintenance information to independent operators through websites using a standardised format in a readily accessible and prompt manner. In particular, this access shall be granted in a manner which is non-discriminatory compared to the access granted to authorised dealers and repairers."
