Hey hey Everybody!!
Im out of hospital and back on my feet (with a horrible back brace)
I suffered a wedge compression fracture of 2 spinal vertabre. Im in a back brace for 8-12 weeks. cant drive, cant do anything mechanical, cant sh*g, cant pick anything up, cant shower, cant do anything. BUT im alive! and still have the use of my legs.
My backpack saved my life. It had a rolled up fleece inside. ;D
Thanks to all for your messages! :)

We're a helpful bunch, maybe someone will lend you a hand ::)
Glad you're ok, sounds like a long road to recovery but at least you're still here to ride it. Get well soon!
I don't know you or what happened but saying your backpack saved your life and that you can't sh&g now for 8-12 weeks has forced me to go and buy a back brace, so thank you - I owe you a pint, that's something you can do! :)
Wish you well on your recovery!
Nice one Andy. I feel better now. I ride to work everyday with a rolled up towel in my rucksack. Lets hope it has the same effect if it happens to me.
Get well soon fella :)
Good to hear your ok .

Just don't rush it Andy - wishing you a speedy recovery. Looks like oral sex for you then mate. :o ;D
Are you in a Boston Brace? They're bloody uncomfortable things. I wore mine over a towel when I was in one which helped.
And I did manage to shag in it (carefully, her on top) ;)

Glad to hear you're out and about Andy. Hope it hasn't put you off riding. It's a tough one, but I've been in that situation so many times, I now always look out for cars pulling out mid-overtake. I hope you have no lasting damage mate. Look after your back from now on, because it will be delicate I've no doubt. Keep your pecker up... Oh hang on a minute... ::)
