Heard a rumour going around about a change to the Misano circuit's name.

Good idea or bad idea?

Anyone else heard this or is it just chatter?

The circuit of San Marino will be renamed "Marco Simoncelli Circuit". The number 58 will be remove from the World Championship.

Fantastic idea. Very fitting to the memory of Marco.

I also think the removal of #58 from racing is appropriate too.

This weekends racing is dedicated to Marco. They have a 58ft wall to allow fans to sign. All riders in all classes have the #58 on there bike.

I also see that Capirossi will be riding with #58 on his bike as a tribute to Marco... Fantastico!

Final race for him before he retires from Moto GP and I think it's lovely that he wanted to ride with Marco's number on. :)
