So we went off to a industrial estate today and talked about U Turns. Started off doing big wide circles and got them smaller and smaller. all the time practicing back brake control, clutch feathering, steady revs etc etc.
Within an hour, the demons were slain....

Well Done Lou - I found u-turns difficult at first
(Especially with an extra full fuel tank and the bike weighing in at 27 stones)

since getting the Street Triple I'm loving having the turning circle enough to do U-turns again - hadn't been able to on the TT or the Daytona!

That kind of shows how much it must be in the mind Dabz, as one justified criticism that can be levelled at the Striple (and the Monster too I believe) is a pretty abysmal turning circle, especially noticeable when manoeuvring at a standstill - my 10 turns tighter than Star's Striple!

In order to prove to Lou that it could be done on that part of the road, i did it on her bike, then i did it on the Z.

Though i'm not telling who was naked in my cesspit mind ;)
