What do you reckon, what affordable choices are there for you regarding bike choice? Will KTM shift a load of these?

WANT!
i think the answer could be yes! :p
I'd like one, would be a hoot on the back roads round here.
Great bike. Shame it's not going to be on sale in the Uk or Europe!
I agree with the article that more bikes of this type are needed. Cheap entry level motorcycles seem to be in short supply now!
Agreed, we need more mid-sized bikes, there's a huge gap between 125cc and the 600ccs
Although I did wonder at the comment:
"Or you can jump on a 600 Supersports, except you can't because there's no way you'll be able to buy and insure one."
I'm not exactly old and grey (or experienced on a motorbike) and I spent £1k on my CBR and a whole £150 insuring it :-? that doesn't seem totally out of reach! You just can't buy a brand new one which isn't exactly the end of the world.

I pay £86 fully comp with legal for my 2000 TDM850 but my car which is 1996 1100cc is £130,You would of thought the car would be cheaper to insure

nah coz with a bike if you get it wrong... you die and they dont have to pay out xD whereas a car has airbags and shiz :p
Mine is a 250 ninja. Lovely bike, good height. Size too as am really small. In one nd a bit years I would like a bigger bike but worried as to what is out their for small people lol!
The Gladius is a real cool bike Maz, low seat height, plenty of ooomph! ask Sally or Jen on the forum, or you could go for a cruiser, Sue (bubblylittleme) is quite small,(but absolutely gawjus!! xxx) ;D and she rides an 1100cc Yamaha Dragstar. there's quite a choice out there, I guess it just boils down to your preference.
:)

Yes.... somone is a bit out of touch.... I pay about £150 for the Sv... after 10 years of riding.
New 250cc effort from Suzuki, no where near as tasty as the KTM though.

Saw that. Is quite tasty.... at least it will be available in this country.
Was noticeable that the small bikes were far more prominent on the NEC show stands this year. A sign of the times.
Bring back the RD250LC....... :D
