Is anybody using Apple Iphone with a bluetooth headset on bikes?
Today i have just been asked what headsets are compatible and actually work.? I have been online and seen whats available. But has anyone got first hand experience before the trial and error sitiuation. ::)
I know the Scala systems work well but not sure with Iphones.... ? all the reviews say they work great but no mention of the Apple Iphone working with it..
Just thought id pick your brains.... :P

I have seen them waterproof casings.... Will have another look.
Mine was about £8 from amazon - it's brilliant and has lasted through really heavy rain on the IOW trip

Just looking at the water and shock proof ones.... Im on the case.... CHEAP jokes never get old..
Would be interested in knowing how I would be able to charge my phone from my bike, not worried about running a satnav tho

12v outlet with a phone car charger will do it. Thats how my phone stays charged when im using my route recorder. It eats the battery otherwise.

Haha, I had an Iphone. Now I have the HTC. When my contract runs out again, I'll be sticking with HTC ;)
I HATE being tied into Itunes

Riding a bike means I don't have to answer the phone. Why would anyone want a headset? ::)

Apparently, growing evidence suggests that engaging in coversation while driving is as much as a distraction as holding a mobile phone. :-/ ::)

I use iphone in one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/iPHONE4-3G-3GS-BICYCLE-CYCLE-BIKE-CASE-MOUNT-WATERPROOF-/330553700814?pt=UK_AudioElectronicsVideo_Video_Tel evisionSetTopBoxes&hash=item4cf68931ce#ht_1420wt_1 270
It keeps it dry but does get a bit of condensation which i dry out when the weather gets really nasty.
Charge it using data cable and one of these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Belkin-Micro-USB-Car-Charger-Adapter-/330624505418?pt=UK_MP3_Player_Accessories_Chargers _Docks&hash=item4cfac1964a
Via a 4 way cigi socket i've wired in. Also charge my other phone and runs the on board video camera.
Bluetooth connects through a garmin zumo 660 to scala rider fm. you can also use the iphone with scala without going through the sat nav

Don't have a clock either...... don't want to know what the time is... there has to be some selfish enjoyment in the world.

Did you she get upset when you said you meant off the bike, to block out the nagging? ;D

Ear plugs for me, but not answering phones while I am riding, I go on the bike so I cant be bothered! Ipod at a push if I am doing loads of miles in a day just to kill boredom on motorways.
