Silly question I expect however here goes, getting the bike prepared for its mot have sorted rear brakes ie new pads etc.
What are the main areas for mot failures?.

Brakes, tyres, lights, horn, indicators, fork seals, frame alignment, steering head bearings, wheel bearings, trapped cables, lock to lock movt of handlebars, exhaust and suspension.

PS. Did you know that little reflector has to be in the centre at the bottom of the plate?

I'm assuming that's if you don't have one still fitted from the factory? As mine and Mikey's bikes both have MOTs, with the reflector above the number plate...
