If you like looking at fantastic bikes photos etc this is a great site (especially on a cold wet night with nothing much else to do) http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=540395

I'd certainly love to take my bike to the Scottish highlands - been several times in the car and if its dry it must be fantastic (providing the darn evil midges stay away).

I love the pikkies on that particular thread - not quite sure I'd manage to take photos using the technique he does though...I'd probably fall off :)

Some good pics in there, recognised a lot of the places :-) If you get the weather on your side the Highlands are a great place to go for a few day's riding.

There's a few pics from the Highlands and Skye trip I did with the Missus and some mates a few years ago HERE (http://s86.photobucket.com/albums/k117/TheOriginalNooj/Out%20and%20About/Scotland2006/#!cpZZ3QQtppZZ24) :)

Sounds like a plan, maybe worth putting forward for next summer?. 8-)
