View Full Version : Can't believe I didn't check the brake pads!

After buying the bike a couple of months ago I have been putting in some serious hours to get it back into shape since its last MOT three years ago and the last owner threw it down the road.

I was worrying about twisted frames and things like that but got a call from burnout bikes yesterday to say its a fail due to front pads! I couldn't believe the one main item to check and I didnt ::)

Ahh well I have the pads and will fit them today for the re-test on Tuesday. Was a nice ride to and from, the cookoo fair was on so avoiding the middle of downton is a must!

Ive done similar, bought a complete set with a view to just changing the rear, and the fronts were nearly down to the backing :o

At least you weren't riding it when you discovered that mate.

Passed today thank god so since its been a nice afternoon thought I'd go out for a ride. :D
