Has anyone on here used a decent chrome plating company in the wilts area that they could recommend as i need to get a pair of bonnie silencers replated

Friend confirmed it is...said they are not cheap but did fantastic job. Very amenable guy too...picking up his pipes from his work so he didnt have to get them there. Not sure if he does that for everyone though lol

Blimey !!! :o just rang Platers one silencer is £120+ vat not to mention the cost of restoration or repair so a pair of silencers rechromed is £288 inc vat which is just under the price of a new pair of aftermarket pipes from Triumph !!! :-?

Me thinks the aftermarket pipes may be the way to go then.
Depends how badly you want the originals on mate.

S & T can be very expensive. I was down there a few months back collecting a mates RD parts after they quoted a ludicrous price.

Can you supply me with a picture of the bits you need done and I will get a quote from our RD chromer

Footnote - some chromers will not do pipes because the oils inside can ruin the chrome chemicals - Others will will charge a lot just in case they have to cover cost of chemicals
