Anybody else seen this setup of two calipers on the rear disc - opposite each other?

May have been tried experimentally but the dynamics of motorcycle movement makes it pretty pointless as the greater stopping power is from the front brakes :)

Originally motorbikes & cars only had rear drums even some of the fearsome Brooklands racers. The 24 Litre Napier that set rocords around the track and then was used to test parachutes only had rear drums. They definately had balls in the past.
Thank God things have moved on.
