I have a 2005 Yamaha R6 in blue on a 57 plate, thought I had put the side stand out (but like a twat was not out right and bike went down). Went in to blade Yamaha to get the price of replacing the mid fairing decal, me and the spares salesman nearly feel of the chair at the price £86.00. Thats a no go anyone with similar experience what did you do?.

I phoned around and found the part I needed at half the price (genuine parts too!)
I would also phone Yamaha direct to see their reasoning behind ridiculous prices on parts.
My philosophy is nothing ventured - nothing gained.
I also look at what I am buying (and do a 'sanity' price check on the item)
i.e. is that part really worth that amount of money?

DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO PUT THEM ON YOURSELF! Get a sign writer to do it.

If anyone wants to get stickers right the best way to do it is to lightly spray a weak soapy water mix on the panel then they stickers will slide exactly where you want them. Just make sure you wait a few hours before going for a ride 8-)

Did all of that spent a long time trying but they are just not the right shape, have contacted the seller awaiting a reply.
