Got to give a shout out to our local lad Victor Cox, who will have a wild card ride in British SuperBikes at Assen on the Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki alongside temporary team mate, Chris Walker, this weekend (21st/22nd/23rd). He's been absolutely amazing this year in British SuperStock 1000's, and is currently in a fairly secure 3rd place in the championship, after a stunning race at Donington where he secured another podium finish. If you've got nowt else to do this weekend, sit in front of the box and cheer on the local boy. Top 15 would be good, and top 10 would be amazing (especially as that bike ain't that easy to ride). Good luck Vic! 8-)

It was a tough meeting for Victor; a first lap crash in Race 1 (possibly due to a coming together with another rider), and a dramatic crash at the final corner of the second race when his rear wheel disintegrated spectacularly. He looked a bit battered and bruised, but fortunately walked away from it. Hopefully he'll have better luck at Silverstone next weekend.

Yeah, it was another rider that took him out at turn 3 on the first lap. Spectacular failure of the rear wheel on the final corner in race 2. Only ever seen failures like that at the Isle of Man. The guy gets no luck at all... :(
