I need a new lid and have been considering a Shoei XR1100.
I have tried one on and it fits like a dream.
Has anyone got one?
What is it like to wear?
What is the ventilation like?
Does it mist up?
Is it heavy?
What's it like at speed?
All opinions welcome!

Hi Rabb,

Not me but a friend at work has one, he wouldn't swap it, says it fits like a glove and would buy the same again!

He's very fussy!

Thats the problem being a perfectionist (you are never fully happy)
But thanks for the feedback.

The feeling is mutual, I live my life around OCD. :-[

I am on my second after crash testing mine last year :-[

Having knocked myself out for 20mins I am convinced it did it's job and saved me from a lot worse. It was definitely the reason I replaced it with the same model.

It also fits like a glove and with the pin lock does not steam up.

Certainly gets my recommendation. :)

Thanks Andy - I have not seen a bad review yet - and as lve tried one on, and it fits like a glove for me - I have found one for £242:99 on big bike book (includes a 10% discount on their already discounted price) - bargain!!!

I've got an XR1000 and it's brilliant. Would seriously consider a XR1100.

Thanks Jon - it's a great price (as long as I can afford it this month)

Reevu MSX01. Better build quality, comfort, ventilation and quietness than an XR1100, but £50 less AND... you get a fully functioning rear view mirror in it.
