Toying with the idea of selling my Yamaha FZ1N. Most who know me will know the bike. Had a new Hagon rear shock/belly pan/Renntec sportsrack/coil packs. Has a Yamaha gel seat, heated grips, Remus Okami exhaust, Baglux tank cover and bags, tail tidy, etc. Still runs as sweet as the day I bought it, back in June '07. But it now has 61500 miles on the clock. The cheapest I've found on the net is £3500, but that has 30000 miles on it. So what do you reckon it's worth? Sensible answers please... :)

Was the "sensible answers please" bit lost in translation? :p

Mark - I suspect the extras you've had fitted recently counteract the mileage so looking online I'd say perhaps £3500-£3700?

I'm sure its a great bike but I reckon the mileage is going to really put most buyers off.

Riders have a 2007 which they cant shift and thats only done 36k. It looks nice, FSH, lots of bits etc - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2007-YAMAHA-FZ1S-SILVER-/300820757262?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item460a507b0e

No bids even starting at £2,500. :o

The trouble is their are lots of much lower mileage bikes about.

Put it on Ebay with a reserve of what you would take for it and keep your fingers crossed.

I would think you'd get around £3k for it.

I'll swap for a GS with only 43k on the clock..... :D

... one careful owner....

Put a new speedo on it and you'll get a better price ;D
