View Full Version : Did anyone watch "speed dreams" last night?
Just watching on catch up, some really interesting self built bikes being raced at the bonneville salt flats. Like the worlds fastest Indian but real (uk) people
I'm watching it off iplayer later :)
Really enjoyed it, have set the Sky reminder for the next episode. Didn't realise so many people from the UK go.

Excellent programme and one of the best things on over xmas and new year.
I watched it on the night after seeing the write up a hour or so before in the paper. It nearly slipped under the radar.
Sat here now trying to work out who will succeed and who will fail
I do not hold out much hope for the tribute Triumph team.
Just watched it. Brilliant!!!!
Didn't think it started until 10pm tonight? :-?

"shame about the blower"?????........not really! anyone who spends such time, effort and money on any kind of engine and FAILS TO USE AN AIR FILTER is a complete knob..........
also, they were in America with a week to source another blower.....could have done a deal, and had it posted, and fitted and they would have been back in the "race"....
they didnt seem very "savvy" to me...........

Yeah they did well by completing his bike and running it in his memory. That was a very unselfish thing to do. A rare quality these days. Also, what better place to have his ashes spread.
Very good programme, shame theres not a few more like it 8-)
